walk profile
Car park south of Dockray on A5091 Go through the wooden gate at the south eastern corner of the car park to enter the National Trust owned land. Walk across the field towards the stream (there was a clear path on the ground, though not on our map).
High Force on Aira Beck The High Force here may not be in the same league as the High Force on the Tees, but it is still quite dramatic. Continue along the clear paths at the left of the stream until the footbridge across Aira Force is reached.
AIra Force We walked to the bottom of the waterfall, then returned to cross the footbridge. We then turned left to follow the footpath up the other side of Aira Beck. After about half a mile another left turn leads to a track up to the road at Dockray. Turn left along the road to return to the car park.
